    • Escrow.com (Recommended): Starts an Escrow.com transaction for you and allows the buyer to pay immediately.
    • PayPal: Creates a PayPal transaction for the buyer to pay directly to your PayPal account.
    • Email: You and the buyer use email to choose a payment method (e.g., crypto), discuss lease-to-own (LTO) options, etc.
  • Location: Country, region (e.g., state or province), and locality (e.g., city, town, or village) of your inquirers to help you understand where they are located, the best time to contact them, etc.
  • Bulk Management: Set options on multiple domains at the same time: prices, payment methods, appearance, etc. using our website's interface or your favorite spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets).

Another problem with these landing pages is that they are blank in regards to "trust" logos. No accredited BBB, no Escrow logo, no paypal logo, no cc logos, no trustpilot score, etc. Now I understand some sellers don't accept Escrow or Paypal and may push to Atom, Sedo, or whomever for payment. I realize their is no "trustpilot" for namepros, etc. But the blank page just is missing this concept, and if I were a buyer, I'd be hesitant. Even BrandBucket has told me that buyers pay 25% more to buy from Afternic/GoDaddy even after finding the name with them because they don't "trust' BB as much as GoDaddy. So the question is - how can we add something to this page to make it more "trustworthy"? Bodis describes Escrow.com. Afternic has the GoDaddy logo and phone #, and states "simple, secure, and fast transfer". Dynadot lists all the cc's they accept. I think we should consider adding something to this page. Happy to brainstorm what and how we can add something in this area

We've seen some sellers add those elements (e.g., credit card logos and offer GoDaddy's checkout as a payment option) using the description areas, but we've also had a lot of requests for a Dan-like lander, so we may be adding one of those soon that'll have those elements as part of the lander (i.e., cannot be removed) for sellers who don't want to add them manually.

The current lander is intended to be simple, customizable, and easy to hide "NamePros" on it.

Adding BBB.org or buyer reviews is tricky because a lot of sellers want to remove the "NamePros" brand from their landers as much as possible.

Open to all suggestions from everyone. ❤

Yep, we're adding an option to link to any website that you control. 😊


We could add a new template variable called {website}, and then you can use that variable with your marketing copy in the description area.

Would that work?

Possibly. Where would it appear, within the short description area - below whatever short description we create -but above the expanded description? It might be interruptive in that area (for names where we have expanded descriptions). If it was always at the bottom (either below the short description if there was only a short description) and below the expanded description if that was added - then it would work.

I'd like a Dan style lander as well - i'm not a fan of the current colors/style. Or a Sedo Lander 15 style. Or even a Dynadot style. Something white background with the areas in color rather than this very dark landing page. But clearly, that is below my interest in copy and functionality.

Here's an example of what Sedo adds to it's Lander #15... pretty generic. Perhaps something like this would give some trustworthiness? (we can change "free" to "easy" and/or "secure" since it may not always be free - e..g, Escrow allows us to make the buyer to pay transfer fees).

I'm generally not a huge fan of things that cannot be removed... so perhaps toggles on/off is the way to go. Of course the above is quite generic, so removing it is likely unnecessary for even the most picky. Maybe it's overkill - because perhaps this is the sort of stuff that can be added to the "extended description" area for sellers that want it. But I think this is the sort of thing that should sit near the form giving the buyer some feeling of security. Maybe there can be a toggle to show an Escrow logo for those who toggled Escrow to on?

Looking forward to others ideas/brainstorms to add trustworthiness to the page. I like the above, but some pretty sharp people on this thread... so I'm sure we'll get some solid ideas.

I've been receiving a lot of inquiries and have had a few "Good news! A buyer is ready to pay your price of xxxx"

I love it. What is crazy to think about is that for years I've never had this many to handle.

Now, none of panned out thus far but still - this is night and day compared to elsewhere (for the last 12+ months the names were solely at Afternic).

This may be a "good" problem:
today I recevied a "Good news! A buyer is ready to pay your price of xxxxx", "Intent: Buy-now", a domain name
two days ago I received a "You've received an inquiry. You may reply to this message to contact the inquirer." (intent = inquire) for the same domain name.

I am very confident that the two leads are not associated with each other. Different parts of the country and very different businesses.

At first I thought they arent related BUT the first inquiry on Saturday was from a web design company. The BIN came from a furniture manufacturer and while they're not related my wife thinks MAYBE the web designer is working with the furniture company. She may be correct!

I would not be able to know that without the awesome lead intelligence offered by the NP landers!

Hoping either of them pan out! It would be my first NP Lander sale!

I'm guessing this is Efty: https://www.apex.io/ Nice and clean, light, crisp. NP landers are dark, depressing. Although personally if we had STR data, I wouldn't care if dark and depressing had higher STR. But it is my guess it doesn't since this lander looks more like Afternic, Sedo, and Dyna, all of whom I guess do lots of STR landing page testing. @Bravo Mod Team - would be great to have 2-3 landing page options as I'm sure you'll get as many opinions on look/feel as there are people in this thread

NP landers are dark
Yeah, at a minimum, we need to have a light option for it, or a Dan-like lander that would be the light option. Our designer is working on that.

It's not possible to track, (un)fortunately, unless the sale uses our Escrow.com integration or someone reports it.

Even better, would be if the Escrow.com logo was turned on automatically when Escrow is the selected payment method. ...Admittedly, I haven't played with the landers yet, so I'm not sure if Escrow.com is selected as the payment method at time of listing (in which case this could be done), or if it's just selected after agreement by the buyer/seller.

Only our developers have access to that account, but yeah, we can ask them to take a peek once they're less busy.

At the moment, their plates are overflowing with feature requests. 😅

Caveat: We've heard about several big sales through Escrow.com that used our landers but not our Escrow.com integration, which is the case for all Escrow.com sales that occur from our default lander. The only sales that we'd be able to see are through our buy-now lander.

For privacy reasons, we'd only be able to share aggregate data, not specific domains or details.

I've recently moved my entire portfolio of 1.4k domains few weeks ago after dan.com closure was announced.

I tried Afternic before, but it was immediately a no go relinquishing control over the negotiation. I don't trust their brokers.

For pro domainers, namepros lander is the perfect solution.

In particular, I like the Google Analytics integration. Having full access to my domain data is a game changer. I understand you're the only platform that offers that.

With dan.com closed, I really think you have a huge opportunity to get ahead in this market.

It's not that I personally don't trust the brokers, it's that they're overwhelmed with Dan import listings and literally take days just to forward your Buy Price to the client.

The Afternic process is the definition of insanity - we all want to sell domains, while Afternic does everything possible to NOT sell your domains. In an era dominated by FOMO and instant gratification, Afternic models itself on a 1940's corner store run by a 90-year old guy who slowly shuffles around like he's in a Tim Conway skit.

I can say without reservation, that using Afternic as your primary marketplace will lose you both time and money.

With dan.com closed, I really think you have a huge opportunity to get ahead in this market.

In case you're interested there are other platforms that offer it (Aftermarket.com landers have Google Analytics integration too). Crisp and clean landers as well.

Agreed, but none of them are free (or going to remain free).

NamePros Landers will always be free, guaranteed. Only we can/will do that at a high level and for the long term. 😁

They are ALL free. Whether or not they remain that way, who can say. Bodis has been free for years, so not sure why you're saying this comment.

We don't consider commission-based services to be free.

For the services that are free at launch or currently, we have seen reports that they all plan to move to commission-based fees. Time will be the ultimate judge of truth. 😊

That said, there's nothing wrong with charging for these services. They'll be able to offer you more options and features than we can because they charge for it, and that's great, too.

Both options (free and paid) are useful so everyone can choose what works best for them. 👍
