  • PayPal: Creates a PayPal transaction for the buyer to pay directly to your PayPal account.
  • Email: You and the buyer use email to choose a payment method (e.g., crypto), discuss lease-to-own (LTO) options, etc.
• Location: Country, region (e.g., state or province), and locality (e.g., city, town, or village) of your inquirers to help you understand where they are located, the best time to contact them, etc.
• Bulk Management: Set options on multiple domains at the same time: prices, payment methods, appearance, etc. using our website's interface or your favorite spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets).

• Minimum Offers: Save time by setting a minimum offer amount to manage buyers’ expectations. Set it as a specific amount or a percentage of the buy-now price (e.g., 50% or 100% to match it exactly).
• Remove NamePros Branding: An option to remove unnecessary mentions of NamePros from parked pages.
• More Landers: Choose from multiple landing pages for various purposes, such as a new Buy Now Optimized lander.

Could you add more details as to what you are trying to do? Is this when adding custom HTML to the expanded description? The <!DOCTYPE html> preamble is invalid by design in that circumstance.

If I had to guess, it sounds like you are probably pasting the source for an entire HTML page into one of the description fields. Our system is going to strip almost all of this out, and it likely won't display as you intended. Review the HTML help guide for more info on what HTML we do allow. (If you are using an AI to generate the HTML, you can give it the help guide so it understands our HTML restrictions)

Huge thanks to NamePros for the landers, which are an amazing opportunity not only for zero-commission sales, but also for creating a lander that a domainer truly wants.

I've observed a small issue: when anything on the lander or domain settings is updated in the NamePros settings, the changes don't necessarily go live due to a caching issue. If you open the updated domain in a different browser, private mode, or even by adding "www.", you can see that the updates are live. However, if you visit testdomain123.com, update settings like the price, and then visit the domain again, the settings may not be updated for an extended period — possibly unlimited days (or whatever is the cache clearing in a users browser), as I've been testing this.

So it seems that if a buyer visited a domain some days ago, and the seller later updates the price, that same buyer might still see the old price due to caching. Is there any solution to this?

However, if you visit testdomain123.com, update settings like the price, and then visit the domain again, the settings may not be updated for an extended period — possibly unlimited days (or whatever is the cache clearing in a users browser), as I've been testing this.

So it seems that if a buyer visited a domain some days ago, and the seller later updates the price, that same buyer might still see the old price due to caching. Is there any solution to this?

I don't think we do any local caching (client side) of prices, but I'll double check with our team.

The prices shouldn't take too long to update, especially if you only update a single price.

We'll do some digging and get back to you.

Update:

There was additional caching by Cloudflare that we had to explicitly disable. After we disabled that, we added a cache buster to resolve it for affected domains.

Everything is back to normal.

Our landers aren't blocked by any major ad blockers. It's unlikely that any smaller ones would block them, but we'd fix it quickly if it ever happened.

We've utilized a variety of techniques over the years so that our ads on the forums aren't blocked. We'd use the same techniques for our landers if ever needed.

Landers themselves usually don’t get blocked since they’re not really ads; they’re just contact forms.

Most ad blockers use the same set of open source ad lists, and our landers currently don’t appear in any of them. We wouldn’t expect them to be added to such lists.
