I am interested in a domain name, and it is expired september26,and it was at namejet for sale as pre-release.I didnt pay the 69 bucks and now it seems to have gone to auction. It doesnt say though when the auction ends.Does anyone know their rules, and how long can they keep it after it expires? I think it is 45 days but not sure. I really like the name, the .net is available but we know who the boss is.But ya would like to know how that namejet works and any great advice about their system too

Thanks!

I see now,name.com has a domain for auction,auction ends Nov.10,2011 but it expired August22,2011
How can they still have control of the domain name 2.5 months after it expired?

Either it is in redemption period ( approx 45 to 75 days) or they might have renewed it for an year. They keep on changing the pre-release date.

You just tell me the nae of the registrar. If it is with enom reseller, then you have to pay $200+9.69 = $209.69 to get the domain.

So I guess they can keep it up until almost mid december
its nothing that spectacular that I would pay 209.00 for it
