Not looking for too high valuations on this one since I just regged it:). I think it may be good for a domain parking service. In fact, I may use it for something along those lines with all my domains.

Both domainhotel.com and urlhotel.com are taken. Plus, domainhotel is taken several other extensions. Namehotel was taken in .com, .net, and .org in the past but the .com was available for the past 3 months.

Any opinions?

I personally like nameyard.com. It has the name to be a popular domain related website; Maybe an exchange/trade domain based website or simply a place where people could pay a sign-up fee and hold their domains... If this domain was put to good use, the 'yard' part of the domain really opens the doors to a potential domain related website.

I quote the above from another post where I give a little talk about the domain nameyard.com... The same may apply to your domain namehotel.com.

Personaly, I don't think the 'hotel' part of the domain stands out as much as 'yard', and therefore wouldn't be worth as much. (Sorry, don't mean to compare!)

I think if you develop the domain though, it would be worth something... :)

I think it was worth it if you use it to sell your own domains. Don't see it fetching too much on a sale...good luck!

I agree that its not the best name for a domain sales site, but I do like it for parking domains. In fact, I passed over it several times in the past few months until I wanted a domain for a parking site.

Hotel works because each name will have its own "room" that it will redirect to saying its for sale and listing all my other domains for sale.

In other words, I have a certain concept in mind that plays off the hotel theme.

Nice concept. I'll double my appraisal value.

I am seeing some green over here too!

Undeveloped: Reg Fee +

Has potential if developed as a name parking site, as a URL forwarding site, or for monetizing parked domains, tracking type-in stats, etc.

Difficult to guestimate it's value as a developed site without knowing the final shape of things though. But of course, you already knew that! :)

Depending where you are selling it... if you are selling it on forums like this... then 5-15USD... if you are selling it on others website... that are like auctions sites for domain names (like ebay) let's sa 100-400USD

Difference between "Asking prices" and prices for which domains have actually been sold, in my experience.
Best of Luck here, 'Ogre. :)
