I need someone to fix this... i am totally lost on this-

I will only pay via PayPal :p

Having problems trying to connect with phpmyadmin only? Try using Navicat 2004. Definetly a helpful tool if you're constantly modifying your databases. Has some cool features.

The connection error happens when connecting with phpmyadmin? :?

I would look through the php files itself Richie... there may be a leak or a mysql bug that isn't being noticed...

Reason is probably that you have a set of scripts opening persistant connections to the database. Possible ways of solving it:
1.) Use non-persistant connections in the scripts
2.) Lower timeout-setting for persistent connections
3.) Raise max_connections setting

Thanks a bunch Armstrong. Didn't think anyone would remember me :)

And for my answer. If you just set the maximum_connections alot higher, do it gradually as you dont want to overload the machine.
