MySQL Database Reporter

Which is the best, or most widely used, free (or low cost) MySQL Database Reporter? I want to create simple reports easily, and store them for later use. I don't need something with extreme power, but I would like ease of use to produce relatively simple reports, on sales etc.

The 'create view' statement? Apart from that there should be some other software out there but I tend to write all my own stuff.
