Im typing up a report for my english college class and I am profiling MYspace. As you have guess Im profiling Myspace. BUt anyways...to the point..

Is anyone here really addicted to Myspace? If so, why?

I am not but I used to work in Television.

Almost everyone in the news department (this includes anchors and reporters) spent at least some of their free time on MySpace. Some of them were heavily addicted and I know one anchor that used to surf MySpace using the computer on the news desk during commercial breaks.

not that addicted, i consider it just the same with other social networking site, just a profiler on the internet.

I'm not much for MySpace.. I prefer Yuwie.. much more active IMO.

Myspace is the first site I go to when I come online, I wouldn't say I'm addicted but I do go on there quite a bit. I have around 14,000 comments now and 5,000 odd messages. (not spam - i delete all that!)

I think it's a great place to meet new people. I've met a lot of people from there, a couple of those I'm now very close to.
Safety is important, but let's not go over the top :blink:

A lot of teens are addicted to myspace, especially the younger kids ages 13-16 because they most likely cant hang out after school, so they network online.

MySpace is horrid, it's only good for music and finding new bands. I don't even have a myspace myself!

I am not too big fan of social networking sites, the only one where I have an account is Orkut and I rarely visit it.

Have alot of friends and family from outta state on myspace so I have one too. Used to market my stuff there but never received any traffic so just a basic page now.
