MySpace, BT and iWelt to sell .tel domains

MySpace, BT and iWelt have announced that they will sell .tel domain names directly to their customers and members. MySpace is partnering with DomainMonster and will commence selling .tel's to their massive membership base tomorrow.

This is an unprecedented event and must surely have implications for the entire domain industry.

Just as a note of point. BT do not actually sell domain names, essentially they are a reseller for another provider. Struggling to think who the provider is though.

I have a feeling it's NetNames, but I could be wrong.

Yeah that definitely rings a bell I think it is Netnames, I know their hosting is with a company called Hostopia.
