The top domain name sale of the day was Myelin.org selling for $25,500.00 at NameJet. NameBio tracked 386 domain sales $100+ for a reported total of $279,520.00 with an average price of $724.15 per sale. Compared to the day before, there was an increase of 2% in the number of sales and the total dollar volume increased by 24%. NameBio also recorded an additional 1,333 sales below $100 for a total of $26,924.

e.company had just dropped/caught and auctioned and went for that much!. Bummer for Almarri

 

Oh sh*t so Almarri has been trying to peddle these names for a million dollars and let them drop? Then one sells for 25k lol shows that pricing is the key.

I was about right when I said that I doubt holding.company could sell for even $10,000.

given that a better, shorter single letter dot company just sold for only $25,000. And even that sold probably mostly because the letter “e” has some significance next to the word company. Not sure every single letter dot company is even worth $25K.

 

e.company is a remarkable sale because it was bid up by domainers at a private auction. The whois record indicates that the domain has not been paid for yet. Because of the amount, the delay might be justified.

One of the participants shared more details on twitter(like that Almarri is probably the buyer):

 

I already paid $25,105 USD on 15.10.2020 , So this week the name will be in my account.
