Hi. I'm new to this forum, and pretty new to web design. I have designed a website for personal use, to play around with layouts etc and learn new things. I'd be grateful if you all could take a look, make sure everything works, etc, and post feedback here. Don't be affraid to comment on anything that's wrong/etc.
And don't moan about my use of frames!! :p

That's really nice...

Although viewing your source I can't help but think you are using a program to make your website.

Your next step would be to try Notepad :D

Dreamweaver is the best for web design without using Notepad, and I am nowhere near at the ability of using Notepad, so I'll stick with it :D

Learn to use notepad and never use any program to make ur sites. If you use a program you will not know what things do and not be able to understand things. USE NOTEPAD!! From the beginning...

Its good to learn wih notepad but theen when you get doing professional design you will use Dreamweaver....

I never liked notepad, so i use TopStylePro. Its all texted based, but with better features then notepad, clearly. Its not only for CSS.

Nice site, however I do have to agree that you need to use notepad that way you can learn what codes do specific things and understand them.

The reason everyone is saying use notepad is:

• You will soon find that programs have limitations
• A lot of programs are repetitive and make websites look a lot like other websites created by the programs.
• It will get you used to programming for the future when you may need to start using PHP or other languages
• There is no dreamweaver for PHP
• You can customize your websites a whole lot more
• I reccomend Edit Plus, It's a great text editor but it costs money.
