If this is your first web site let me congratulate you on a job well done. Looks very good for someone who has designed his/her first site.

I would suggest you start reading some tutorials on web design, you will find them all over the net

For Photoshop I would suggest to stop by good-tutorials.com.

love the gradient at the top. The best way to learn is trial and error!

Much better than my first site... which contained just a bunch of cliparts thrown all over the page with text in the middle :P

You might want to add some text to the top bar (with the gradient), I think that would make it look a bit better, but so far, good job!

How do you claim that you have "made" it and its your first designed website?

Anyway , here are tips to improve it :
- There are to much spaces in the website. Try to put the contents closer to each others.
- Look for a better free host (www.web1000.com for example) . Geocities puts an Ad that takes %30 of the page.
- Remove animations. Using animations in web designs is obsolete and distracting.
- Use less google ads.
- learn xHTML and CSS.
