My landlord didn't pay the mortgage.

Today, while doing my normal around the house things. I get a knock on the door telling me that I need to vacate the premises immediately. I was like, um no. They then proceeded to tell me that the house is being foreclosed. I said, I was the renter and I have been paying on time for the last 6 months.

Well tough poopie on me.

Bad news, I have to be out by Sunday. Badder news, this stinks a$$ and baddest news, the dude (landlord) won't give me my money back.

I am in dire need to make some money today so I can keep a roof over my head. Does anyone know where I can get some work?

Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

Are you a university student?

If so, is there any library within your university that is open 24 hours?
Maybe you can stay there for a little while.

As for food, I would check out your local food bank.
Maybe help out some restaurants wash dishes for food. I know some people who have done it.
If it came down to it, and I'm starving like crazy (maybe I have a part time job, but it'll take a while for the money to be deposited into my bank account), I may also beg other people for money to buy food.
McDonalds have some pretty good hamburger deals for around a dollar (I'm not sure if they have similar deals there).

For now, I'll donate whatever money (not much atm sorry) I have in the paypal.

SMALL VICTORY!! I scored a night at the hostel because I went to the place and told them that they needed to do some stuff to make it more user friendly, their website that is. I have a FREE room to stay in!! I might get another one if I do some stuff for them tomorrow :santa: %%- :kickass:

Frank, I am safe for now but realistically speaking after talking to the lawyer, I won't be seeing anything of recovering losses within the next 2 weeks. As of Sat, I would like to take your offer up of going to your office, helping you with content and making some stuff happen! Well today was eventful. I had to work 5 hours to earn my room. I am now going to try to get my stuff online so that I can start getting income to plan better for my future. I'll let you know whats going on, Frank.

Thanks to everyone who's helped me through this ordeal..

I am starting to feel great hope and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
