Hello wanda
iit looks good for your first site .
A few suggestions :
- build yourself a header ., what you have now is just text.
- you have a lot of free space on the website .
- you need more graphics , it will make your site look trendy
- go and visit www.colorschemer.com about what colors you should use on your website.

Congratulations , you did a good job for your first website.

Way to go, Wanda! It's a nice, easy-to-navigate site.

Good tips provided by StudioWorks. (Thanks for the link to colorschemer!)

well its better that the first site i made when i was at college well done!!!

when you click on the links all your pages look different i would like to see a bit uniformity

also when i clicked on "Meet the Pastor" the link opened in a new window i don't use new windows or pop ups any more because i think novice web users get confused by it because they can't use back buttons and stuff

-- thats just my oppion

Thanks for the helpful feedback folks.
I did add a header to the home page..
and I agree.. I should have some form
of "familiarity" to each page.. so the site
visitor always feels they are on pages
of Kilgore Nazarene..
Am still working diligently.. and learning
a good deal.. and enjoying it as well..

Thankyou!

It might just be because I'm on a really slow connection (28.8), but the mouseovers are kinda strange. when I mouse over them the scroll disappears for a few seconds, and then comes back darker. I'm guessing that they're just supposed to change from light to dark and not disappear, so maybe make them smaller files so they load faster. also, the edges of the scrolls are kinda rough.

I just tried it on a fast connection and the scrolls still disapear like that. I'd fix that.

Thankyou Matt.. for this info.. I've not heard this so far..

Are you referring to the "mouseovers" on the "navigation bar".. ie= the bar that has the "scrolls" for icon's?

Thankyou sincerely for your feedback..

Thankyou for your feedback Matt..

oddly.. when I view the site on my browser.. it does not do this.. the scroll's remain.. and no fading ect..
so now I'm confused..
hmm.. know not what to do about this..

try making the file sizes of the scroll images smaller. i think that's what is causing it.
