I think the layout is good but I would change the colours to something lighter - also I would increase the text font size - for people like me whose eyes aint as good as when they were 20. Apart from that I think it looks good - better than mine in fact, which template did you choose ? I've got 2 blogs with blogger too www.netmonetization.com and http://rookiestocksnshares.blogspot.com/ - you might also consider changing your name to your own domain name?

My opinion; Scrap it.

The colours do nothing for me at all. Dull and unattractive is all I see in them.

It's a blog so it needs bright colours that catch the eye and make people want to read your 'online public diary' all the time. There's one I especially enjoy to read because of the design. Designs do a lot for me. It's what attracts me and all other people looking at sites to websites such as your own.

So yeah, i'd scrap the current one and go for something a little brighter and more attractive to look at.

I wanted to go for a basic look ,but if a better design will attract more readers then yeah i will change..I heard the less code the better it is for the search engines.

The banner is oversized, it practically overshadows the content. By the time that i could get caught by the content and start reading, i get interrupted with booksales and adsense, this continues throughout the site.
while the blog topic itself may not be a bad one, the way its visually presented is not exactly helping your cause.

Start looking around at other blogs and templates and try to arrive at a stylish and driven solution that you can adapt for your purposes.

So do you think I should go for something that is even more basic looking and have less distractions..
Can anyone recommend a template that may suite the topic and benifit readers.most appreciate all your comments to by the way

Thanks for the link magnizmo - I'll have a look and maybe use some of the templates they seem to be more intersting than the ones on offer at blogger.

I think your template is fine, it's just the colours I don't like - they make me feel a bit seasick. You can change the colours easy enough by clicking on 'customise' 'templates' 'fonts and colours' . It's only personal preference but I prefer light colours as on my blogs

nah its not all from adsense mostly though.
caz has some good templates but you can find thousands of the if you type different keywords into google or your search engine...try blogger templates, blogger layouts,blog design stuff like that there are heaps ..I had a few 3 column templates if you want the three column template just type in 3 column blogger template there is a heap of sites with them..

lol yeah its a sexy pic only decent one i got (that says a lot hey)
but i dont care..hehehe

I will be changing the design soon just concentrating on content for now..

it looks too grey. Also i noticed there is a grey gap between header and content part. Doesn't look good.
Why don't you make own hosting for this blog?

I will be making my own hosting soon..The gap between the header and content had a nav bar there I dont know how to close the gap tried a few things ???.can anyone help with that..
