Can you please give me some general suggestions about

I'm mostly concerned about the look - color, layout, etc suggestions.

Thats quite clustered. Im not to fond of the orange its very zany and sticks out agenst the green. try toning it down a notch

It ok, not to much of a mess. I always like how people use orange on websites, but its not suited with green, and its how you have the colour it self. But good job all the same

Orange and Green are a big no no when put together.
They look nice apart but not together.

Hmm, what would you suggest, changing it A BIT with overall look&feel staying the same?

Both are "cheerful" colors so i used some online tool to get my color palette from the photo of an orange tree, zoomed to couple branches with oranges.... Tree looked very nice

The color scheme is a little...well, painful to look at, and it's somewhat cluttered with dissimilar schemes/layouts.

It's got interesting content though

Hey,

Looks good maybe a little too colorful. I like the XP style buttons and the fact that it valides as XHTML 1.0. When i put my mouse over your navigation everything turns to orange ( text is gone ) why is that ? I also feel that you can still improve the images in your header, quality-wise.

Overall you did a preety good job.
