I have about 15 domains parked with GoDaddy's CashParking. I was thinking of starting to submit to different search engines, etc and start pulling traffic but then I thought, is there anything else I should do before doing so to increase my chances of parking success?

Any ideas/advice welcome!

Example site: www.OrlandosTourism.com

First thing to do is read the Terms of Service where you are paked at to see that you cant send traffic to your parked domain

What I meant was optimizing it for traffic, advertising, backlinks, etc...

Lots of things,
1. Create good looking landers ( work within the template customization restrictions of your parking company)
2. Use relevant keywords
3. Monitor your traffic origin and optimize your domains for your traffic origin.

etc..

(I'm not sure how much optimization you can do with GoDaddy's Cash Parking - you might want to try parking them at some other places (where you don't have to pay) and see how they do there as well; you have many more optimization choices at some place like Parked.com)

sending traffic to a parked name by means of paid advertising and links is usually not permitted.

And to digress, supposedly, some ad providers, in particular Google, are soon not going to serve ads to many parked domains that lack natural type-in traffic.
