Ok , i just finished my latest project and i want some reviews about the design of the forum .

I have used phpbb2 and the theme is made by me .

The forum theme is really easy on the eyes, even for longer duration it doesn't cause any stress or the user to get tired. A little more "action" would be nice, especially when you talk Trance/Techno/House, i'd like to get some of the club feeling, that distinct feeling as when i stood behind the turntables, the lasers, the headphones, the crowd... (ok, the past is almost taking over again... :hehe: )
If you could get some of that feel into your header/banner or have a touch of it in the backdrop, that would be great. What would even be better is if you were able to depict a club dancefloor scene in the background of the actual forum topics, one large image in the appearance of a watermark, the forum categories are still sitting on top of it and are functional. Something along the lines of the attachments.

An embedded mp3 player would be cool, spin the latest trance on auto start, let the user pause of stop it if they feel. it would also give you an additional angle to sell itunes or records through an affiliate program.

Wow, thanks for the reply IntelBank . I really like the second image you atached , but i have one question . It can be done ? I would like to know that, you gave me some great ideeas about the design , i will try my best to do the changed you said .

I'm not sure whether it can be done, that's up to the folks that know CSS and can eventually apply a gradient to the main forum to let the backdrop come through a bit, this would create this type of effect. Unfortunately, i'm just an idea guy...
