Multiple Domains Pointing To One Site

Good afternoon everyone...you will have to forgive my ignorance, however, I have a question.

I own an atv website by the name of atvwire.com...I also own several other "atv related" domains. Is there any benefit to pointing those domains to atvwire.com or should I just leave them parked?

I do not want to do anything that could hurt my SEO or my rankings but if it is something that could potentially help them, please let me know.

If I were to point them to my existing site (atvwire.com) I would just use a htaccess 301 redirect to atvwire.com

Thoughts or suggestions on doing this?

What you could do is the following :

Take the domains you have and put custom content on each domain, and target different keywords, so once you are done you have a network of custom sites that grab almost the whole market of the keywords you are going after.

I think in the long run that would work the best and help you to grab a lot of the SERP's

So what you are thinking is take one of the domains ( atvhq.net for example ) and build a custom page on there concentrating on just one keyword?

For a SEO newbie it might be a bit difficult to optimize 2 domains each for different keywords. I would suggest to create just one site and point the other domain to former.

Thats not going to harm you anyway by SEO prospective. Infact in my opinion that would be advantageous. In any case you are going to publicizing only one domain of your domain, so you won't get much traffic on the other one

don't bother spreading your content out across multiple domains, its pointless. Doing a 301 redirect on your other domains will not hurt your site but it will not make it rank any better either.

it is better to take your time to develop at least 2 to 3 pages in each domain and Link to the main website, redirecting or "pointing" your domains to one website major SE does not like it specialy google , so don't be surprised if your other domains don't get to be indexed or vanish from the SE results.
