MSN Messenger or AIM?

Which one do you like better - MSN Messenger or AIM :p

Adds on AIM ? I dont get ads. I dont like MSn at all . And have always used YIM

I'm one of those persons that just never got into live chat. I did, however, recently install Yahoo Messenger. So here's a newbe question- Is "IM" a generic label for all "Internet Message" services? -or- Does it refer to a specific chat client?

I Tried MSN again a few months back ..... Already deleted it again !

As Grrilla said - Not really into all that live stuff that much ... and Don't need all that junk using up my Compute cycles anyway ..... lol :bah:

IM refers to Instant Messenge(r) so yeah, it's generic to all of them but I'm guessing if you live in america, if someone asks you for your IM, they're probably asking for AIM

IM means Instant Message or Instant Messenger :]

I hate all IM, they're annoying. I have AIM running to keep track of my teenage daughter's usage though, because that's the only one the kids around here use. I have two people on my buddy list, my daughter and my neice. My daughter has about 200, which is probably here entire school class.

Class sizes must have increased somewhat since I left school :lol:

I think the most I have had was 50-60 but it got too unmanageable and to be honest I started to forget who was who.
