Today I was prompted to download the latest version of msn live beta (version 8.0.0792.00).
When the file downloaded it refused to install because the issuer of the certificate could not be verified.
To fix this problem download the version manually from http://ideas.live.com/mainpage.aspx (making sure you login). You will not need to verify the issuer for this.
It looks like the problem is the fact that microsoft seem to be using the certificate for msn.com for the live.com website so the issuer does not match who it claims to be (when logging into the above site you will actually have to accept the certificate after submitting the log in form).
