I'm interested in purchasing the domain MrAwesome.com. There was no for sale page, so e-mailed the owner asking if he'd like to sell.

Could you please appraise the domain MrAwesome.com? I'm interested in purchasing it, but the owner is asking $1500 and that seems really inflated.

How are domains usually appraised? I've just looked a few people's appraisal methods, and they all seem to be different and not put a dollar amount on much of anything.

I want the domain for my personal site, because I'm considering legally changing my name to M. R. Awesome.
