Mr.money

Nice domain hack, curious of your thinkings.

Just saw "hey.money" was sold for over 8k.

Thanks in advance and as always, stay safe. :)

That domain in .money extension is very valuable. You should be able to get at least $10,500 for that Mr domain I suggest listing on sedo and waiting for high offers, put min. offer of 5K in my opinion and plan to counter.

I like this domain too.

Hard to pinpoint the value as it's atypical but the value is there.

I'm not a big fan of those extensions tbh. Was a bit different in that case.

Of course. .money is a trash TLD like the vast majority of them, but there are always a few domains that work great with each TLD, mostly domain hacks.

You agree that Mr is a 10K domain?

It's always hard to say with these alternative TLD as there's little data for comparison. No one can guess them on an accurate enough level, but I'd say it isn't an outlandish claim. I can see it sell for that much to an end user, I wouldn't be surprised.

Thanks for your suggestions, really appreciate it! TBH i am not that familiar with SEDO, is there still demand for direct auctions?

I have seen many new TLD extensions collecting dust on Sedo. The way Sedo seemingly orders their site is .com, .org, .net first, then random ccTLDs, then slightly related .com, .org, .net, and then finally the new TLDs.

So if you listed this domain, the order someone searching for "Mr" would see your domain is something like this:

Mr.com
Mr.org
Mr.net
Mr.co.uk
Mr.se
Mr.ca
MrMagic.com
MrClean.com
MrFresh.com
MrCool.com
CoolMr.com
CoolMrMr.com
Mr.Money

As you can see, your domain will be fairly far down the list. Even random two and three word .coms will go above you. The same issue may arise in showcase listings.

That is why I prefer DAN and Afternic for new TLDs, although you should certainly still list on Sedo as Daniel Owens suggests.

Thank you for the suggestions, will start a direct auction on SEDO the next days to test it out. Already have visits to the offer page on SEDO, so lets see where this will go with an auction.

Hard to skip or avoiding to pick this domain from all other appraisals list, which is the same case for a potential buyer if he were looking for similar keywords. For me it can't be compared with:

mr.org
mr.co
etc ...

Since the meaning differs completly and the comparaison should be againsts: mrmoney.com, .net etc.

Hard to give even an approximate value (it is valuable ofc), it will depend on how much the buyer will put on it honestly.

Most expensive domain name sold this year for that extension:
one.money for 2500$

And only 3 domain names with the same extension sold this year:
cbd / trader (.money) for few bucks + one.money

You should be inspired by the same domain names put on sales right now:
mrmoney.net currently selling on sedo for = 1200$

Which is better than yours to be honest if it was given to choose.

mrmoney.eu = 1800$
mrmoney.org = 99$
mrmoney.co = 99$

If I have to negociate with you to buy it and as end user, I will offer < 150$ (Max), especially if I am targetting MRMONEY keywords, if you target only MR keyword there is no much offer to recieve imo. if you come up with higher price, thee is alternatives like .NET/.ORG/.CO (Well known extension and cheap price).
