Another Sony Bean Mp3 Player related domain here.

Wondering what you guys and gals think of it.
I tried to avoid including the words such as Sony and Walkman, as I am pretty sure there might be future problems with using those words in the domain.

Anyway, I would love to hear your thoughts about this one, good or bad.

I just regged this one today, so for the moment, I am hanging onto it. I thought the name was pretty catchy, which is why I regged it.

Its hard to appraise a domain for a product so new. The Sony Beans could kick off like iPods or flop like other MP3 players that tried to compete. Its a nice, fairly short domain and easy to remember.

You cant comapre the Bean to iPods.

iPod is a brand. The Bean for now is a product.

This domain will go up in value if Sony bring out different version of the Bean (and i dont mean capacity wise). I mean size, functions (colour etc).

If it remains just a temp product to battle the Shuffle, the doamin is not worth much.

I happen to agree with Noswad. I don't see much value in the domain until the Bean proves itself as a product. Apple's iPods have turned from a product into a phenomenon, so it's foolish to compare the two.

Thanks for the replies so far guys. Very interesting stuff.

However, when the ipod was first released, was it certain that they would be the hit they are today ?? I dont think everyone who regged a good ipod name at that time had an idea they would take off so well, meaning that trying to find a decent ipod name today would be pretty tricky.

Anyway, if they take off thats great, if not, hell, I only lose the reg fee on this one.

Would still love some other peoples views on this domain though.
