It seems that out of the few registered extensions, the only one developed is the .ca extension.

As an end-user they may be willing to pay $xxx to $1xxx with the right sales pitch.

Names like "Law Firm", and "Accounting Firm" make more sense and would profit much better.

The term "firm" is not commonly used with mortgage companies.

The highest offer i have received so far from a fellow reseller is around $5xx but i havent accepted the offer yet cos i still feel i can sell it for a much higher price, say around $7xx to $8xx .. I am currently composing a sales pitch i plan sending out to some targetted end users by the end of today, so i have my fingers crossed at the moment.

Offcourse its an excellent price but i dont really need to rush into accepting the offer yet because a bunch of other buyers have equally shown interest in the domain name and are yet to place their bids. I have got 6days till the auction ends so av got plenty of time. The last few hours of the auction will be the defining moment, And as domainers we all know thats when the magic happens,, :gn:


Mortgage companies may or may not use the word "FIRM" alot but lets not forget the the Main keyword in the domain name is the word " MORTGAGE " which happens to have huge global monthly search (phrase match and broad match).

If you do a google search for the keyword "Mortgage" you will see the first result is a mortgage company called=> "" THEMORTGAGEFIRM.com"" .. A company like that would definitely love to get their hands on this domain name..

No they dont need to rebrand their company name, mortgagefirm.com will just be one of their alternate domain extentions.

Its sometimes good to own various variation of your domain name because of competition.

Imagine if their competitor bought mortgagefirm.com from me and managed to get it ranked in google, the owner of themortgagefirm.com would lose quite an amount of their customers or new potential customers to their competitor because the name would easy confuse them, and some might think it's the same company.

Infact if i was the one doing a google search, i will definitely prefer to click on MortgageFirm.com rather than click one TheMortgageFirm.com :hehe: just because one looks shorter and more precise
