Ok, I misread the title. This domain is worth Negative money. Good luck in court. ;)

moneysupermarket.com and the phrase " money supermarket" are both registered trademarks so someone has bought a bag of trouble this domain appears to be clearly an infringement on that.

No accounting for taste I would not touch it with a bargepole at any money

Agreed,

the domain may get a bit of traffic being a typo of a heavily advertisted site, and their is probably money in adds on it but the wholoe trademark issue makes it worthless to any one serious, they could easily loose the domain at court

I think everyone here is correct...Whomever paid $5k for this better create and market a site very different from "money supermarket".

Not worth the risk involved, worthless imo

I personally would not touch it. No doubt it gets some traffic but not worth the bankruptcy to follow :p

I think you're the one missing the point. That name sold because it generated traffic and revenue as TM infringing typo. If it didn't generate traffic and revenue it would be a worthless name. You're trying to point to this as an example of how the recent $0 appraisals of your names are inaccurate but you are comparing apples and oranges. You haven't indicated that your names have any traffic or revenue.

On further investigation turns OP can be a "Wind up merchant " guess I should have checked some of the other posts made by this member before commenting.

Post was designed to be provocative .. scant details, no rationale as to why asking the question to provoke a Yadda Yadda Lol.

I do not especially appreciate having my time wasted validating info, yes I did check tm status before commenting .. anyway Live and learn

Move along now nothing to see..

Note to self .. Do not feed the TROLLS!

"So many domains so little time!"

Well, I GUESS you read the appraisal guidelines?. Stop posting names that you dont have any control over. This thread should be moved to the domain discussion section or something like that, not in the appraisal part. IMO your wasting mine and everyone elses time.

This domain will make the $5k back in under 6 months.

Gamble...

As its a clear TM violation - Yes if moneysupermarket don't realise they own it and no if they do.

The PPC would have to be something special to pay 5k as I can't see an alternate site existing for long on the address, parked site maybe.
