The spellings vary, just as you got confused yourself, like i mostly type out Muhammad.

And, frankly this isn't the coolest idea on earth, people have unfortunatley mocked prophet Jesus very often and he has been humiliated in this depiction and someone just exploited it, Although a lot of people used t mock him in his early days but the same cocept cannot really bethe applied to Muhammad, as he cannot be associted to any undressing incedent.

A person not aware of the historic fallacy may very well pay you to his heart's content.

Somewhere in Europe - was it Denmark? - there were massive riots resulting in deaths and such just because some people put his image in a cartoon. JMO, and frankly I am a sissy, but, if there was a mohammad doll put out that was designed to make fun or humiliate their prophet, I'm fairly certain that the fanatic Islamists would create 'an issue'..... maybe I'm wrong in thinking this?

I think you will get an Aeroplane come through your office building or anthrax in the mail.

Not to be rude but this is the most stupid and dangerous idea that I have ever seen on NamePros.

Cancel the domains, this could be very damaging for the publicity of the whole domain business.

I am not a muslim but have many friends who are, if you enter a mosque unlike a church, you will never find pictures of people never mind the prophet.

Respect other peoples traditions, faith and religion, if you don't you can assume responsibillity for your own part in Islamic/Western tension.

seriously, calm down. it would only be damaging if it were developed and became popular. i highly doubt that it would damage the domain name image but more that of the internet community. i agree it's a bad idea but there's no need to create panic.

One thing that we don't have is the "Right to be Unoffended". I'm sure that most Christians would agree that the website about "Jesus loves porn" or the dozens of others that openly mock every religion from scientology to buddhism are much more offensive than a dressup Mohammad? While of course, Muslims are more than welcome to their opinion, they are not the only voice in the crowd, even if Christians aren't as "vocal" on the world scene at the moment.
But something I won't be a part of, is shutting down a thread that still has something constructive to offer just because the topic <might> offend.
On a side note, if this domain would lead to "airplanes in my window", we all need to take a chill-pill.

Sorry Allan if its not exactly about the domain what i say is, but regging this kind of domain is more than risky. I know a few people who hold similar domains and got threatened...... Drop it ASAP.

Not sure where you are coming from. He asked a value, and we are basically saying the value is zero, since Islamic extremists have a tendancy to do extremist things to people who mock their Prophet. How is that off topic?

If I said, "$0" with no explanation, how is that helpful? Wouldn't he want to know why?

And note, it is not like either of us suggested that we were personally offended or that a majority of Islamics would act agressively.

But in today's world, it would be silly NOT to note that taunting religious terrorists is a really, really BAD idea - and that directly reflects upon our perceived value of the domain.
