Mod_rewrite help!

i made mod rewrite for my site: it is the same entering http://idnpros.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6 than http://www.idnpros.com/forumdisplay-f-6.htm but what i want to make is that instead of linking to http://idnpros.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6 to be linking to http://www.idnpros.com/forumdisplay-f-6.htm how do i do that?

I dont know but im guessing i think it is some thing to do with .httacess

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^forumdisplay([^.]+)\.html$ forumdisplay.php?=$1 [L]

Put the above thing in your .htaccess file and it will be done.

And yes also edit the Hyperlinks in the PHP file itself to point at the new URL.

The Output will be http://www.idnpros.com/forumdisplay6.html
