Before .mobi was released I read somewhere that it was going to be dedicated to mobile transfers for mobil devices so when it was released I got the name MobileTransfers.mobi and wonder what anybody thinks of it.

Thought I would post it here since for .mobi and in the appraisals but I don't get much response from the appraisals.

Well I thought of it as transferring files between phones and pc's, ring tones, slide shows etc.

Must be just me though.

Here what I put on other
I thought transferring files to mobile devices such as pc to phone (phone being mobile) Ringtones, slide shows etc being transferred equalling mibiletransfers.

When some wants to transfer something to or from the mobile device they go to MobileTransfers.mobi (what I was thinking)

I think that names a keeper.

Danal, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of South Korea-based mobile payment services provider Danal Co., Ltd., announced the completion of a $9.5 million venture financing round led by Morgenthaler Ventures. Danal Co. claims close to 50 percent market share in South Korea, where mobile payment transactions topped more than $1 billion in 2006--its services extend across 14 mobile operators in South Korea, Taiwan and China. "Danal has a significant lead and is in the best position to dominate the U.S. market," said Morgenthaler partner Ken Gullicksen in a prepared statement. "Danal created this category. It is the only mobile payment provider to have commercialized this service on a large enough scale to guarantee a high quality of service and security to customers."

Note the year. 2006 ! As you can see the U.S. is lagging behind in the mobile world. But that is changing rapidly.

Cosmik
