Very nice, thanks for sharing! I tried the opera mini with my sites and it works great. I'll check out those downloads later. :gl:

The Opera Mini is very impressive... It converts pretty well a normal .com website in a light mobile version.

IMHO, Opera Mini is truly a kind of .mobi competitor...

What will the big players like Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson choose? .mobi or Opera Mini (like Nintendo did)?

Yes, Opera Mini is impressive, but emulation has limits. I believe websites that are designed with mobiles devices will provide better user experience.

I agree. Opera mini is overrated, unless you enjoy never-ending scrolling.

I just typed www.Namepros.com in that Opera simulator. Try it. Quite interesting. Also Sedo.com

These are the investors in .mobi:

Ericsson, Google, GSM Association, Hutchison, Microsoft, Nokia, Orascom Telecom, Samsung Electronics, Syniverse, T-Mobile, Telefónica Móviles, TIM and Vodafone
An impressive group. Other poster(s) have mentioned Motorola. Anybody know if that is a urban-mobi myth?

Rss

I noticed that on the Opera and my Palm Treo 700W my sites with RSS Feeds work fine.

However on the mtld.mobi site, the basic emulators the RSS Feeds won't show up.

Anybody with any insight?

I guess most phones to evolve will show the RSS like the Palm Treo.
Also, the Treo shows frames but not the iframe.

(Frames are discouraged unless user client "supports them" )
