Would anyone have an idea of what this might be worth? I also have missteps (dot) org if that affects the appraisal.

Does anyone want to take a guess? At the very least it is a single dictionary word .com domain and should have some novelty value. I was thinking I could develop it as either a sports related site (bloopers, bad calls, bad trades, etc) or a political site. However, I am not really into sports and I am sick of politics.

Interesting word. has some blog and possible whistle-blower/shareholder rights type of site. No current advertising for the term so it is a tough sell. high $XX

The only thing I can see this as is a tapdancers blog, and the name still doesn't fit well. I guess this is a perfect example of why not every dictionary word should be registered...you may get a small amount of cash back but I would probably try to get a grace delete if you still have time.

Thanks for the replies. I have had the domain for a few years and I don't intend to delete it. Misstep means to blunder not just to physically misplace your step, so I don't get the tapdance reference but I appreciate your input. Missteps is a synonym for blunders or mistakes. If you google the word you will get 4.2 million results. It is a negative word and I can see why it wouldn't be used in advertising. Would blunders.com (I don't own it) have the same problem?

Miss-Step as in a catchy domain for a tap dance school...nevermind lol

Blunders.com would not have the same problem because it is synonymous with f**k ups, so much so that I doubt there is anyone who wouldn't know what it meant.

As you have already proved, you have to explain to me what context you meant :)

Hmmm, missteps is also synonymous with f**k ups and most people I know would know what it meant. I see that you are in the UK. Maybe the word is not in common use there. Google has about 6.7 million results for blunders, so it is definately used more often but only by about 30% or so. My question about blunders was regarding MrSpartans comment that missteps is not used as a keyword in advertising. Would blunders have the same problem?

Thanks,
Tom
