To prevent possible misplacement of postings by newcomers to the forum, here's a suggestion. Every new member will receive a Warm Welcome message upon registration, in which at least the Marketplace and Appraisal sections are clearly mentioned.

It would also save a lot of work for the moderators if they didn't have to move these misplaced posts every time.

There's a site-wide notice for new members that is more noticeable than a DM, but the same idea. It directs them to the following page:

It works for the vast majority of new members, but there have always been exceptions.

There probably isn't a perfect solution that will work for everyone, unfortunately, but we may be able to re-arrange our layout a bit to minimize it and facilitate posting in the correct sections.

We'll see what we can do.
