Looking for feedback, Thanks.

The Million Pixel Project is a viral marketing/design/advertising project.
The goal is to sell 1,000,000-pixels for 50 cents a pixel in (10x10) 100-pixel blocks.25% of all the proceeds will then be donated to the American Red Cross.

Anyone can buy pixels, it's easy and fun. Not only do you get to design your 100-pixel block,
but you choose where it's placed on the homepage and the website it links too. Whether it be your site,
a corporate site, charity or just a favorite site...whatever, you choose. (And yes, you can buy more
than one block and create an even larger image.) The website will be up for at least 5-years,
that works out to less than 3¢ a day for your block! With the potential of millions of people the site why wouldn't you do it?

What can you do with a 100-pixels? Be Creative. Advertise. Have Fun. Donate.

It's getting more and more boring :)

Well, I even saw a directory of MDHP sites...
I think there will always be innovative and imitator people... but that's the natural way in a history. I will no write it but you'll agree that operating systems were not invented by the COMPANY who get the loads of cash now :)

We could think like that about almost everything in our civilisation:
Well, someone invented the circle... so someone next will be imitator :)
What about the newspaper? Forum? Blog? Chat? I don't think that we should call a copycat all people who open another forum, sell new newspaper, etc.

At the beginning we can see the new idea and imitators, but after a few years probably, there would be a normal segment of internet activity.
A lot of copycats will disappear, a lot of new will come. Maybe some evolution? When the growth in sales will be stopped, maybe the idea will die with the last sold pixel.. :) Who knows? We'll see...

I have a lot of plans for new internet services (also including ads) so of course I would be rather pretty sad if I could see there're thousands of similar sites after a month of the publishing mine...

In the end, I think people before me said that too (oh!), selling ads is not new, attracting people to see the site is nothing new - the new is when you put it all together and it works.. - that's interesting - look, we're normally not very happy to see the pages with content replaced with ads...

People usually would like to make the minimum of needed work to get the same results as the successful site, that is the point here :)

I've wanted to do this ever since I saw the million dollar homepage begin, and have finally gotten around to it. I figured if there's going to be a thousand of these, there's gotta be some way to organize/promote them all!

In the end it helps the people who are advertising on the sites.

Funny how every knockoff uses the same exact layout as well, hmm.
