Hello,

What do you think MightyFat.com is worth? Few months ago, MightySat.com was sold on Flippa for $7k.

Thanks,

You usually can't just replace a letter in a domain that happened to sell for a lot and expect it to be valuable.
There's MightyFatRecords.com, but I doubt they have very much money. Could be worth a shot if you see that they've gotten their own hosting one day.
MightyMuscle(s) are good. MightyFat, $0.

Try to sell it for a few bucks before letting it expire.

Obesity is world's biggest problem now a days and it is a source of a lot of diseases. People are spending a lot of money to stay healthy and fit. More than one-third (34.9% or 78.6 million) of U.S. adults are obese which are insane numbers for just one country. The estimated annual medical cost of obesity in the U.S. was $147 billion in 2008 U.S. dollars; the medical costs for people who are obese were $1,429 higher than those of normal weight. Now, look at the other countries like China, Japan, UK etc. and these figures are astonishing.

'Mighty Fat' is a killer keyword. Why not to develop a website to guide the people how to stay fit, ask people to share their experiences so that it helps others, offers herbal medicines(very popular in Asia) and many other stuff.

Does it make sense now?

"Mighty Fat" reminds me of a satire website...or one making fun of fat people. An end-user could build an informative or self help site w/ this name but I wouldn't expect anyone to pay a lot of money for it...

Sure, you can develop it, but I don't think it's a killer domain. So I also don't think anyone is going to pay you much for it.
It doesn't really make sense because 1) fat is not mighty 2) making fat mighty doesn't imply anything good

I am sorry to say but there is something really wrong here on NP. Why does everyone think that every domain owner, who asks for appraisal, is expecting million dollar from that domain name.

Sure it may not be killer but how you decide which is premium domain name? If Google.com, Facebook.com were not today's giant, would anyone even think of sparing $10 to buy these domain names? For sure not!

Reread what I said. "I also don't think anyone is going to pay you much for it."
Not "I can't believe this guy thinks he's going to get a million dollars."
It's just my opinion. You would probably be better off doing something else besides marketing such a bad domain, but if that's how you want to learn, go right ahead.

It's irrelevant. You asked for the value of the domain without a website. What would be the point of asking "How much do you think this domain could be worth if I poured 5 years of hard work into building an extremely popular service on it?"

I don't care what you think of it. You better leave this thread and do what you are doing. You don't even have manners to talk in professional way.

People like you are here just to force their opinion on others with 0% knowledge what is being asked and what is being discussed. You're short of any valid argument/reason to talk more and now showing your internal obsession.

WTF this whole industry is doing by selling domain names? Does buyer ask for guarantee from seller that domain will be on top within one month when he purchases? Pseudo intellectuals like you clearly lack any common sense.

I'm not forcing my opinion on anyone. I gave my reasons for why I thought this was a bad domain earlier and even gave you the only lead I could find.

The value of a domain without a website is that it might be a common phrase, a memorable (and usable) brand name, a commonly searched term, etc. Mighty Fat is none of these.

Come on man.. he is giving his opinion about the domain.. he is appraising it.. and you asked for the appraisal in the first place. If you need a professional appraisal, open a business account and ask for appraisal in the professional appraisal forum.

And if someone doesn't like your domain or appraise it for regfee, please don't take offence and keep learning

I apologize for saying "You would probably be better off doing something else besides marketing such a bad domain, but if that's how you want to learn, go right ahead.", but the truth is that if nobody ever told anyone that each other's domains will *most likely* never sell and that they are junk, we would all be trying to sell junk for a long time until we figured it out on our own. The point here is to take other people's points of view into account even if you don't understand or agree with them, because we will waste a lot of time buying and trying to sell bad domains if we don't..myself definitely included..

But I could be completely wrong about this MightyFat domain, who knows

Reg Fee.

When I started, I couldn't accept the fact that what I have purchased is totally crap. I couldn't face the fact that I am never going to sell these domains. But now I do and buy better after doing research and using the tools available on the internet.

If I was the end-user, I would prefer a domain like CutTheFat.com over mightyfat.com even if it would cost me 50x the money.

Agreed n everything that has been said. Reg fee. When I first saw the domain , I thought iy would be about a site saying Fat is good.
