On paper it sounds quite reasonable. In practice, you could end up with all sorts of legal TM crap. Personally i'd sell it quick for maybe high $xx.

$0.

One word - COPYRIGHT

When Microsoft sees that domain, they'll take it.

Not Copyright, Trademark rather.

Might have TM issues, but hold on to it in the meantime...should get a boost in traffic soon if not already.

You will likely hear from the MS trademark lawyers as they are very protective of their company name. I suggest you abandon this domain as it has no valkue whatsoever and could get you into legal trouble. Modify your contact info associated with the domain to say "Domain abandoned" and let it drop.

They wouldn't want to buy it if they could get it for free. ;) :hehe:

I would love to do that!
Surely if lawyers ask me and i say "No, i will keep it untill you offer me $50,000" then if they agree I take the money, if they decline I just give them the domain anyway out of fear :p

That's a very risky tactic, and should be strongly avoided in my view. Cut your losses, and delete the domain or voluntarily hand it over to Microsoft. Best, RF

MSURGE.NET is available. May be a little safer with that one.

NP appreciated if regged by anyone, heh.
