Microsoft YouTube rival

Microsoft are releasing a rival to youtube, to be apparently called "soapbox".
Anyone think it could challenge youtube's grip on the online video scene?

yeah, I think the investment group the motley fool appear to have soapbox.com regg'ed, so it may remain a beta name and something else be picked instead when it goes live. I got an available list of typos though if anyone wants it let me know and I'll repost.

Nice. I think Microsoft may be jumping on the train just a little to late though in my opinion. At the best it may be mediocre.

recent changes to the MSN search are looking nice. And am hoping that this new thing will also be having some better features if they want to stay there in competition.

Microsoft will integrate it with all its products (probably quick and easy integration with Zune) and slowly take over the market, like it did with the internet browser market.

Just a random update, I registered a typo of the name, one which still reads as a name in its own right, and already today has had 12 views and 2 clicks? I guess its domainers but maybe I've got lucky and unearthed a gem...

Microsoft is no longer a leading innovative company. They just follow and copy whatever other companies are doing.
They are copying apple ipod, they are copying google, now they are copying youtube?
