Hi I was wondering what you thought of this domain. Michael Vick is a football star that has had a controversial past and was recently injured during a game. I purchased the domain when I saw that search come up as #4 on Google Trends today.

afraid so, so i hope that you can get your $ back. you have to think to yourself, how serious of the injury is it? its not career ending, its just an injury and players get hurt each and every week and come back and play the next week.

THEN

you have to think about the fact that you shouldnt use celebs names, etc.

If you can't get a grace delete (not all registrars offer this option anyway) and you're stuck with it. Maybe throw together some adsense or park it somewhere (SEDO probably the quickest option) and hope for some clicks since the injury is a hot topic right now anyway.

Advice was offered in more than one direction and if all else failed, then since she would be stuck with it, the only other possible option for this short life span domain name.

I agree with LiquidCherry.

It's a bad idea to suggest cyersquatting to a new member--that just compounds the error.

YoGirly, we were all newbies at one time and just about everyone on this forum started out making these kinds of errors.

The best advice I can give: Stay away from celeb names (unless it happens to be your name as well) and obvious descriptive trademarks. They could get you into legal trouble.

If you can't grace delete, just chalk it up to a learning experience. $8.00 is cheap.

wow, did someone had no coffee this morning?

I WAS reading the whole thread and i saw your first advice what was a good one but the second advice contradicted the first one, making money of a celeb name or TM is considered squatting, period

Yes, I would recommend reading as much of this forum before you register your next domain. I am still reading this forum and learning. There are some wise and friendly posters on this board who have solid domaining advice.
