I don't agree.(Sorry Mayhem). Mathuselah was the oldest living person (supposedly) according to the Bible. You could develop a site about longevity of life and health. I don't think it is worth much to a reseller, but maybe after development and some branding it could be worth something to enduser.Good luck!

the problem with these type of names are the silent letters, if someone is going to brand it almost seems you need to own Methusala.com as well

but I definately would have picked it up, but I like the "collectability" of some names and this would of flipped that trigger I think

I'd be inclined to agree that this name needs development. I recognized the name right off and I think the idea you had for a health site would do wonders. I also wouldn't go past placing a biography on the site since I'm sure there should be a few people looking for information about Methusaleh here and there.

Worth low $xx right now but worth a lot more with development.

Worth developing.

During the last month there have been big articles in Nat. Geographic, Time and Newsweek about why people in parts of Japan, Sardinia etc. live to be much longer. Obviously its a subject of interest as now the future holds the possibility of anti-aging drugs.

on the negative side it's a bad domain to remember the spelling of or even pronounce.

First of all, Methusaleh or Methusalah is the translation to English of a name used in ancient times in an ancient language centuries before the English language existed.

Secondly, if we were to read the stories in the original text or even in the Koran as he is mentioned it would be in a different alphabet.

Third, Google results for

Methusaleh 30,900

Methusalah 19,400

Spanish page results show an even bigger majority for Methusaleh.

Also although Methusalah.com may have been registered since 14-Jan-1996, it is no longer a site and appears in the past to have been a site for Financial Planning Software.

I think an apology is in order.

Uhh not exactly... Methusalah is the way it is in any book you can find that has stories of Methusalah try going to a library. I am not hating but why yell at me when I am just saying what is true.

Oh and if you goto www.dictionary.com and goto encylcapedia you get this No results found for Methuseleh. 10 articles found for Methuselah.
