Can you guys appraise MetaFossil.com? I registered keeping in mind a use case for energy companies who want to move beyond fossil fuels.

Fair explanation for the domain, but I don't think it has wide appeal as a brand / or use by any serious energy company (meta energy or meta fuel, better). Little value, IMO
