I forgot to mention I got this directly from a government auction from a bankrupt dealer. So I have legal right to resale. I do not of course have the trademark but I have a paper that was given to the dealer from toyota that says that as long as it doesn't expire that he had exclusive rights. So legally I have the rights to it now because my lawyer said that it didn't say in the contract that it wasn't transferable. I also have the same deal on toyotasuv.com So considering those facts what is the starting offer i should use as a proposal to a few dealerships in the area I live in? Thank you for your answer and I am always quite aware of the trademark issues.

well, maybe more of a "perceived" issue with TM....If the legal docs show it's kosha....should be good...but perception kills many things

Everything is kosher and I'll be testing the market soon, Also just as a pointer if you have a chance to go to a public auction you would be surprized at the domains and other deals that you can get. I'll inform you all of the outcome as soon as I sell them.... I got toyotasuv.com and mercedessuv.com for $10 each and then a car that is worth a few thousand for a couple of hundred. Just thought I would share this little resource with all of you.... Remember get there early and that they are held rain or shine

toyotasuv.com to me is more attractive than mercedessuv possibly because of the letter arrangement

If your (alleged) non-transferable legal right to utilized this TM domain is legally sufficient, you might want to consider making it available for lease, rather than sale. The domain would be protected, while generating a source of clean, perpetual revenue.
