Not trying to be argumentative, but I believe that "mens" has real value as a word. I would bet NP$ that none of you ask where the "Men Room" is when you need to take care of business. In this case, I believe "Men Blogs .com" makes very little sense. I may ask my friend, "What are the best mens blogs on the net?" I would never ask about, "the best Men Blogs?" (Makes me think there are Men Blogs walking around. - NOTE TO SELF : Gotta get away from the sci-fi network.)
But I do like the conversation... this has long interested me. The place of correct english on the net... Hmmm......
i'm all 4 propur english on the www - R U?
Someone has put together womensblogs.com to highlight womens blogs of all things. This is what made me reg this.
Well, in this case, it's all about content and use of syntax. While it's true that "men's blog" could potentially be a proper phrase, it doesn't entirely function well in the possessive form. Now, this doesn't mean you can't be successful with the name, of course but it does mean that the name will require branding/seo a bit more to be successful. Best, RF
i would agree with using men's instead of men in this case,.... but blogS is killing. mensblog.com would sound much more valuable to me, than mensblogs.com
