I saw this one floating on TDNAM. Its 7 Years old, and I though it had a few really great possibilities. One, an obvious social or dating network site. The other kind of a stretch, but sort of a "welcome to the internet" type site, lol.

Your thoughts? I know some of you are fans of spelled out "dot" and some are not, go ahead, lay into this one.

Alright, I was thinking...and here's a way to make it work and really have this site take off and be worth something.

MeetDot.com ...when you say it, you have to say, go to "Meet Dot DOT Com".

It would confuse people. BUT! Make "Dot" into a CHARACTER. Yes, I'm talking the mascot for your site being the "Dot" with a face, little hands, etc. Have him be the "face" for welcoming people to the internet.

THEN! It will make more sense, "MEET DOT! at Meet Dot DOT COM" and be worth some good money.

I think it works.

The only small downside is that meet ends in a t and dot begins with a d. You can kinda slur the two words together when talking fast.

The name is short and memorable however. I'd say hig $xx to low $xxx.
