mechine.com - No. The only way you could make any money off this is with parking revenue from the misspelling of machine. However, machine.com is not developed so it probably won't happen.

sendface.com - No on this too. I don't really get what it would be used for. Sending pictures of your face to people? Nah.

sicktats.com - I like this one. I don't think there is any reseller value but there is definitely potential for development. I've heard the saying "sick tat!" quite a few times when describing a tattoo. Maybe make a page where people can submit pictures of their tattoos. Maybe give it a rating system or something. That's be kind of fun.

thanks for your reply. As you can probably tell, I'm pretty new to this business!

I have a development plan for mechine.com (as a type design studio). I think the sound and look of the word is sexy enough to be separated from its inherited meaning; i.e. it's a good brand container, especially for design, marketing and PR agencies. Is my reasoning flawed in your opinion?

I agree that sendface.com is probably null value and agree about sicktats.com too. I like your idea of tattoo design sharing/rating. Thanks!

First, be careful to distinguish between domain AGE and domain HISTORY. Domain age is how long a domain has been continuously registered until now; domain history is all the regs and drops its had since the beginning. This is an important distinction when advertising or talking about a domain.

Your domains have some long history, but technically they are all new domains, regged late last year. I suspect you either bought them from someone recently, or you yourself used a dropcatch service to snag the names the moment they deleted, right? But they did delete, which interrupts a domain's age because the moment it deletes it starts again at zero.

As for appraisal:
I do like Mechine; of course if you want to sell it you need to find the right buyer, someone who (like you and me) think it's an extremely cool and brandable marriage of me + machine; the kind of domain that could very well be branded in the future for some robot product, movie, service, band (electronica?), TV show, etc.
It's a hard sell right now because it's a narrow crowd who might want to brand this. It's kind of a lottery ticket name; you might hold on to it forever, or you might receive an offer. Unless this name takes on a special meaning to the general public, could be a long wait.
Still... I like it and if I owned it I think it's one of those names I'd keep renewing for at least 5 years, and then rethink things if there are no offers.
And you seem to have ideas for development, maybe branding in the future, so maybe you're the one to give value to this word ;)
Right now I'd say low xx for reseller value. End user - depends on if/when someone shows interest, and who that someone is.

SickTats is okay. Again, it's a somewhat used term but finding a buyer is another story. All other extensions are available to reg, which shows you that it's not a particularly attractive term to anyone. SickTatts with 2 t's, and SickTattoo/s are also regged in the dot.com. If an interested buyer happens along, maybe $150 - $400 range; low xx to a reseller at most.

SendFace does zero for me, just not attractive in any way; someone can always get inventive and find some use for it, but that's a total shot in the dark; I'd rather deal with names that suggest some clear use.

Good luck, welcome to Namepros :)

Thanks for your reply Bannen. You've given me some very useful information about age vs history and much food for thought. Thanks.
