This was on my shortlist, could refer to physical human mechanics like for cars airplanes etc. Or could apply to a huge variety of processes like the mechanics of software, mechanics of sport performance, mechanics of writing a book, there are many options.
The plural is better in this case than the singular which is taken and undeveloped and does not appear for sale. The potential negatives are it's a long word and possibly prone to spelling or typo mistakes. machanics see there typo (that was a test!)
Even with all that, one word IO can be strong, this has potential in relating to tech/geek areas. I would look for tech companies with a longer dot com who might want a shorter sleeker tech inclined upgrade, like *****mechanics.com zfbot is out or else I'd look it up for you : bummer :
Most likely you could get mid $XXX to possibly low $XXXX if you find the right end user. I'd put a BIN of $1399-1599 and take offers, and see what you get.
