I agree with that type of logic; it's the safe avenue to go. However, if you go down this route, make sure that there is a "tab" or category that's standing out from ALL others, where you get the message across that users NEED to suggest the topics that they want to see. Upon having enough inquiries, the mods/admin will add the topic. This gets you to more user driven topics and doesn't dilute the content. Provided that you make sure that users understand that the topics will only extend if they ask for them to be added, it's a smart way of thinking. Maybe it's just me in this case, and don't get me wrong here, i sometimes just don't give much credit to users when they are not properly guided, which always leads me down the path that sites need to be concepted as a "no brainer" simple to follow - intuitive pattern...ivnj said:Too many categories seem empty and I should wait for it to become busy and then add more.
