Massage Therapy Business Logo Needed

I am looking for a Logo that will embody the essence of my business, "Massage Metta".

I am a massage therapist that does Medical Massage (mostly to do with nerves and muscles as well as serious illness and health condition such Alzheimers, Parkinsons, Cancer, Migraines and any other health condition in which massage can be useful to ease discomfort), Deep Tissue, Lots of Sports massage and Active Isolated Stretching (which is aimed at Athletes and any one with Sports related injuries) as well as Cranial Sacral Therapy which is to do with the cranium and the spine.

A bit about me I am South African, studied massage in Austria and germany and now live in Washington Dc. current website www.massagemetta.com

In Pali (Thai) the term Metta means "Loving Kindness" and that is what my practice encompasses. Healing with a kind and loving touch in a manner that transforms the body, mind and soul.

My clients are between the ages of 30-65, athletes/ stay at home moms/business professionals etc.

The logo should not be too cartoony as I would eventually like to add on a teaching element to my business which will focus on providing continuing education to other massage therapists.

my current website will be changing and will more than likely centre around what my logo looks like. The logo I am looking for must not be too medically focused, more of a healing, balanced feel and can be black and white or full color. I must be able to use this logo for all my advertising needs, letterheads, website, trifold brochure, business cards, work polo t/shirts etc.

I think these logos although great are still too generic.

I would like a little bit more creativity

The yin yang works for eastern philosophy where as I do more medical and sports massage which is more related to a the skeletal and muscle framework of the skull, spine and pelvis

also the colors of faded brown and green are too plain



I am going to extend the date to Feb 7th to give everything one more time

Keep up the great work I am looking forward to seeing it all

I like your creativity. The flowers are pretty but my work is more a type of medical massage which blends medical massage of muscle and tissue with a stretching technique which is used for athletes and and kross fit sportsmen and women. Bearing in mind my clients that I am aiming my business towards,

I think the key words here are:

medical massage, Sports stretching
skeleton, skull, spine, sacrum
muscles

Thank you Eric, being new I was not aware of that. i will definitely remember for future projects.


This is definitely more in the line of what I am looking for. The black and red are maybe a little too bold. What would it look like in maybe Royal Blue and Silver. I like the movement , would it be possible to add something more to it?

As for the orange and blue, this symbol is very generic for a multitude of logos, it looks great but may have been used too much universally

Scorpio, the image makes me think of a swimmer and while I like it would it be possible to make the line look more in the shape of a moving body. still keeping it within your design.

Namande, is it possible to make your hands within this design a little more expressive. so with the hands maybe cupped and showing the fingers more apart which would indicate more of a real hand pose?
