DNA is an awesome tool. A nice free solution. If you're looking for an online type deal, Whois.sc has a bulk checker located @ http://www.whois.sc/bulk-check I believe you can only do 500 at a time however.

pss, thanks Allan for that link, will check it out. :)

Take a look at the idotz.net tool - DNanalyzer.

Looks up all TLD and ccTLD (I think) at tleat the ones I continually checked. Has all the bells and whistles I have wanted to use except paying for my finds :hehe: Plus it's FREE!

Hi,

I have a program that does the same as whois.sc, you can import a list of names (50.000) and the program is checking .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz ans .us. Also the program displays domains onhold, pending delete etc.

The program runs under windows, i also have many other domain tools

1) country lookup PHP, import a list of names and check on the country where specific domains are registered, i use this to check nice names who were registered in my own country so i can call the owner in my own language.

2) mail checker PHP , import a list of domains and checkit on a specific email adress, the result is an list of domainnames registered with an specific mail adress.

if you are interested please drop me a line and i provide you with screenshots and price.

Regards
Michael

registerfly.com is a good place to do something like that.

500 domains at once.

The best one overall I've found is Expired Domain sleuth. It finds, filters, link popularity, bulk whois, bulk statuses. It does cost $50 though.

If you're looking for lists, this one also has lists that you can download into the program and filter out the bad to come up with the good. Lists costs extra...but hey...lists are always extra I think.

On the homepage click "Buy in BULK and Save!" (in the gray name search area) then click "Start Bulk Registrations" to access the bulk tool.

or...

Click on the "Domains" dropdown menu and select "Bulk register" which is quicker. ;)

You can actually check an unlimited number of domains at GoDaddy. You can view up to 100 results per page. While there's the option to view more than that per page, the lists never refresh right for me... they always sit at "checking..." and never resolve. Could just be because of my browser, though... im using firefox. Havent tried it in IE.

I use domain name analyzer too but is not for all the extensions so I would suggest www.registerfly.com/multi(know already said but giving you the link)
