What market? why should people come to your site. And why will they with that name. I dont like it.. I would not have reg'd it, Maybe Markets... but not the singular. Also, .CC is junk, you need to know that. You will learn soon.
Good luck.
The domain in my opinion is worth the few bucks you will sell it for.
Market.cc may not be worth too much as a domain alone (xx to xxx) but as for .cc, I sold 2 .cc domains, 1 for $2,500 (2 years ago) and the other for $1,000 (this year). They are possible to sell but you just have to be patient and the right buyer has to be looking, but this can be true for all domains.
You have the dot com lovers that hate all other tld's, but look around, cctlds sell everyday. A reg fee + reason should have been enough, but to be rude about it is uncalled for. If you make a good website with a product or service people will use, they will come. The name of a website is not going to deter me or anybody else from going to a site but a good name might help it to get found by google or yahoo. Think about it, Amazon.com is a shopping site and all the best websites are not generic terms.
Examples:
Facebook, Craigslist, youtube, wordpress, Flickr, namepros.......the list goes on and on.
If these names were still available today and somebody posted them to the appraisal section, they would be labeled "nice and brandable". It is all about content.
Enjoy.
