MarineStories.com - Need suggestions please

I have recently registered the domain names:
marinestories.com
usmarinestory.com

I was thinking about starting sites that would allow marines or their family members to post stories from their lives. These stories could include old war stories, family stories, stories about fallen marines, etc.

What I am asking is if anyone has any sort of additional ideas for this site, and if you have any suggestions for software to use. I was considering WordPress for the stories, and gallery2 for the gallery.

Good idea! It may even be used occasionally as a tool for marines to keep in touch with their family back home.
Just make sure your site's ***main focus*** stays clear of controversial topics, since there is a great chance for that happening.
