Here's how speed up youre firefox 10x faster

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

I really don't like the last tip because if you have a slow loading site that loads modules in sequence, then the site will look disjointed until the entire site loads. Oftentimes you will be clicking one link, and suddenly the entire site chooses to load, the link moves down the page and you end up clicking another link. Better to see the whole page before acting IMO, but to each his own.
