Do not let names sleeping in your shopping cart.
I got a brilliant reg fee name pending in my (Enom) cart for a few days. When I came back to it, I discovered that the lovely name morphed into a $350 monster

Am I the only... cart.. having experienced this phenomena or is it just the normal spring metamorphosis of a domain name ? :D

Got to say - it's never happened to me.

As Smash used to say - 'you snooze, you lose'.

I've tended to find that two names have the strongest possibility of failure - the ones I buy too quickly - and the ones I buy too slowly.

I am not missing the name, it is a brillliant TM that's why I did not register it, I just find surprising that big brother is even watching deep to my cart !

The moral of the story is don't let enom know what you are after!
A year or so ago I called to see if I could get a discount off an un-reg'd premium. The reponse was a polite no, not at this time. After a couple of days thinking about whether I should just go ahead and pay the full price I discovered that they had increased the premium nine fold!
